Tips on finding patients who truly need medicine.

As should be done with any successful caregiver for at least 1 single patient of their 5. Is decency really too much to ask of those pillaging the new law?
Hey man....I'm on your side. I was just saying that finding a patient with serious illness, that also has money to spend on meds is going to take some interviewing. Your system makes me wonder though....you should charge 4 of your 5 patients? So 4 patients pay for meds at a price that you can donate meds to a single patient for free?.. kinda sounds like social security =)

volunteering is your in everyone. giving pot away is really cool and all but you can get a foot in the door volunteering with hospice and the like to find you're "super needy" patients. that way you can help for real and not just get pot to people "in need". I thnk you may be taking yourself a lil too seriously if you're that wound up about who gets your pot. it's NOT a cure for anything at all....you cure nothing you only help alevate pain and help a process along. Find people through volunteering and serving those in need; not what and how you want to help, but rather do what they need you to do for them. pot growing is growing pot, change a diaper or talk to a terminal cancer patient if you need to feel good in your soul. pot is usually pretty low on a priority list of those people you're targeting for you're pot giveaways.

I had a patient cure his skin cancer with cannabis oil extract. While it does do a good job of relieving pain I've seen many other example of cannabis doing much more.

My wife lost 50 pounds in less than 6 weeks from radiation treatment and was severely malnourished due to the constant vomiting and inability / unwillingness to eat and I watched with my own eyes how the pot made a difference for her. She got hungry and she did eat.....sometimes it had to be with a feeding tube but she did eat and did stabilize at a healthy weight that made the doctors happy so please don't try and tell me that pot cures nothing because it makes you sound uneducated on the subject as it helped save my wife's life and continues to keep her in a healthy state. I would pose a question to you cory and trevor: how would you volunteering to hang out with my wife and change a dirty diaper have helped her eat while she was going through the rough spots of her treatment? Hope that helps you get the point....

It can be done dude...maybe you don't even do it for free but at a substantial discount. The point is to just help somebody in need if you have the ability. I'm not advocating that everybody has to do it but if you have the ability and you WANT to then by all means, warm your soul a little and do a good deed. If people were forced to do it...well...then that would be social security which I don't believe in :)

I mean no disrespect when I tell you this but here it goes: You need to do some research and devote some of your personal time to educating yourself on this topic while keeping an open mind and your opinion will change entirely. Cannabis is an extremely aggressive and effective cure for skin cancer as well as other forms of cancer. Do some googling for the query "Cannabis cures cancer" and read some. Just because it isn't being used does not make it false. There is no money in a cure. Money is in cancer treatment. If there was a cure for cancer tomorrow in the form of a natural plant that anyone can grow at home, it would collapse the entire medical industry in a year or less, just like if marijuana was completely legalized tomorrow it would cause our judicial system to collapse in a year or less.

That last part about the medical and judicial system financially collapsing is just my personal opinion and nothing more. The bit about curing cancer is fact, look it up.

This is true doctors are into disease management not disease curing

You're both right and that's what scares the hell out of them! They're afraid of having to possibly live like the majority of rest of us. I'm beyond them stopping me now! Freedom is not something someone can give me, it's something I've found within.

Hang out around places with wheelchair ramps and a lot of handicap parking spaces.
Get a hoveround buyers list for your area.
Trauma units are always a good place to meet new comers.
And of course radiology clinics.

Yeah, good idea. Take a walk through the hospital asking people if they want your weed and for you to be their caregiver. Lol. You should make a reality show called Weed Patient Hunters or Caregiver Quest.

Senior homes a great too, sometimes you can get lucky and sign up a patient with Alzheimer's and they'll forget about signing up or signing a caregiver, and if their disabled they get certified even cheaper.. It's a win win..

Ruthless would be to charge them for gas, and then dump their tomato soup in their lap. Then you could call them a whipper-snapper and shake your fist at them.

I know this is a bit unorthodox for my first post but I have a bit of a gripe. I deal with alot of patients who don't truly need meds to help sickness and pain. Seems like all I know are folks who are just skivvy stoners and do not have a real medical condition that warrants cannabis use. Many people in Michigan got a card way too easy. Don't get me wrong, I think anyone who wants to smoke should have free access to the wonderful gift called cannabis but I feel my skills and resources could go to use much better by helping someone who really needs it.

tl;dr: How do I find patients who are truly sick and not just wanting to get stoned?
Im not reading past your post! Your a FUCKING RETARD!!!! ITS NOT FOR YOU TO SAY WHO NEEDS MEDS AND WHO DONT. Thats for the DR they had to see to get the card. Stupid fucks like you get off on getting on other people. I hope you fail horribly!!!!!

And I see you are a fucking idiot as well. Look at my grammar and dont worry about the saint drug dealer who thinks he's a DR. If I get a card it's between me and my DR., this fucktard OP has no say and should just worry if they have a card or not. The cops can only check to see if a card is valid and not what the medical condition is as its private. Just because you cant see a medical condition doesnt mean they dont have one.

STUPID PEOPLE MAKE ME MAD Mr. Grammar officer.

Read the law, live the law and mind your own fucking business.

PS. Its a weed form jackass not a grammar or spelling test.

Mind my OUR own fucking business? You come into my thread ranting and raving without reading more than the first post then you ignorantly spew hate at anyone who will give you the chance, but BUDDY and I need to mind OUR OWN fucking business? I have invested thousands of dollars and countless hours into my garden and it is VERY expensive for me to maintain that garden. I can provide whoever the fuck I please with MY medicine. ONLY I choose who my patients are, and if I decide I'm sick of dealing with shady bastards, I will stop dealing with shady bastards. Plain and simple. I've put too much time, energy, and money into what I do to get into unnecessary drama that loud, obnoxious, shady bastards always bring to me. I am a professional and I expect people who use my meds to be professional. Not brag to me about how you were going to break into your old caregivers garden.

For some reason I can't shake the premonition that you are one of the types this thread is about.

Why you so mad bro?
