TITTIES!!! Stretching Problems !

OOOO HERRRO PREEZ! SHANK YU FO CUMING.......im starting my plants indoors and then later moving them outdoors....theyre seedlings now and are starting to stretch becuase its been cloudy here...COULD i use the sunlight by day and then use CFL bulbs by nite? Ive heard of plants getting confused because of inconsistent light schedules but then ive also heard of a 24 hr lite cycle for vegetative so i dont know shit anymore please help me.. ;-)

i know im confusing my plant, but im doing the same thing; moving it from the windowsil to under a cfl

no problems yet and shes going outside in a week or two anyway

Hi, No worries. Yes you can use outdoor lighting and Cfl lighting for a combined illuminated 18 hours. (the more Lumens the better though) I'd skip forcing the plants to go 24/7 because in the long run it stresses them. They need the dark part of the light cycle to complete the 2nd part of their normal respiration process.
Even if the seedlings stretch a lot you can always bend them later when they're a bit more sturdy and force a lot of branching. I often tie down the growth tip after the plants have a few sets of branches and they fill out just fine. Good Luck! Happy Gardening! GrowIT!:weed:
