Ok. I never said it wasn't,you however said his doesn't make sense. And I believe it does. And what part of yours did make sense? The 5x5 rule would be broken the minute you were growing in three apts at once. Unless you could completely without a doubt prove that they were rented out to someone else. Than you would have to worry about Cali takin it and sellin it off. But I forgot, you don't live here. It is per structure not individual. I.E. it doesn't matter how many adults live there. YOU GET 5X5 FOR EVERYONE. Not 5x5 per individual. So if you and 2 room mates live in one house you would split the 5x5 area. So no you would not be able to grow enough for yourself, unless you don't smoke much. So you would be forced to go and buy the Gov. priced weed, whatever it may be. It just isn't as sweet as people think it is. If it was I'd be on board and not debating.

People with no card say that people with a card are hypocrites, well if that's true I say anyone that started smoking pot under the age of 21 and votes yes is no better of a hypocrite. I don't dissagree with legalization,I just don't believe in the way they are trying to do it. Of course everyone wants it to be legal,I just think we should hold out for a bill that does a little more good. It's a hustle. And that is how all hustles are,you gotta have someone to hustle to be a hustler. And right now Cali is the hustler,so guess what that makes you.

1 you can grow enuff for two ( if not more) in a 5x5
2 the proposed law does not state a grow weight limt for the 5x5 it only says you can't leave you property or any place and have more then 1oz on you
3 idk about you but i could grow POUNDS in a 5x5 area
and then me and all my roommate could have plent of weed to smoke

i would vertically drop two, 1kw cooltubed hps's right in the middle of
4 plants being lst'ed and scrog'ed
growing up the wall up against a gate (like a cage)
veg them for like 2 - 3 months then fip'em

something like this
and this room was 3x3 if i remimber (not mine)
you just have to get creative
but you get my point

and let us not forget about the great heath robbinson
this was done in a 4x4 area and yeilded 46oz (2.5lbs) with just a 600w hps
even if it took you 6 months (2 yeilds a year) which it will not
2-4(thats 23-11 oz's to last you to next harv.each) people sould be able to eat off 46oz
if your not in it for profit (which is my point, because 5x5 is plenty room to feed at the very least 2 people. the only people against it are the one's out to make $$$$$)

the words "i cant" should be taken for your vocabulary

After reading the bill, I'm kind of confused on it. See below:

Theres no limit to grow weight or is that what they mean by possession? Maybe the ounce max. only applies to taking it off of private property. If so, then that's fucking stellar because I do outdoor and 1 ounce per year doesn't cut it. Maybe an ounce of pure hash.

Did you guys know that pure hash also counts under that max. weight? That's alot of hash. Unfortuneately, so does the weight of ALL parts (seeds and stems too). They only count the amount of pot in edibles also, but IDK how they're going to find that out.

You can't sell your personal stash, if I read it correctly. The only places you can buy from are approved stores. Which is cool though, I only plan on enjoying the fruits of my labor. I don't think it said anything about giving away though. It would be nice to enjoy your harvest with friends, price not being an issue and all. I would not be surprised to see that it was the other way though. Obviously they have to be restrictive about the stuff because this is breaking new grounds and still testing the waters. Obviously any giving away will be to adults.

The stuff about people under 21 is pretty harsh too on the grower's/possesser's part. There won't be alot of homegrown stuff going to the kiddies. I wonder what the punishment will be like for minors. Either way, all your outdoor shit better be in a locked greenhouse because teens are stupid enough to pull some shit like that. I think the price will soar in an underground market like that, giving them all the more the reason. If things go as planned it'll probably deter them. Do you think minors will be able to tend to the garden? ;) JK.

It seems weird that regardless of occupants, the grow space size remains the same. At the same time, it will stop people from having plantations and just saying there's alot of occupants. I'm interested about knowing what they were talking about when they said something about leasing parts of land for growing. Not that I'd do it myself.

Also, there's no height limit! I can just imagine some sativas trying to bust through the roof of a greenhouse.

Other than my state of confusion, this bill has my vote (from a personal grower and user standpoint). Ithink that there will be a huge commercial market to come (as proposed in the bill), but personal gardens will not be rare. It's a good way to dodge taxes and to maintain a hobby.

I almost forgot, at first I thought each county had the right to choose if you could grow or not in their borders. Turns out that you can grow in any county, but that it is their decision to choose to tax sales. Epic win!

Pretty Amazing crops...

I am not in the financial position to be setting up one of these maze of growing systems. I may try just cause it looks fun, but cant yet. Gotta keep my 24 site, 700 bucks invested into it, it requires a 6x8 space.

It makes no sense to me either.

Thanks, but to me it's not a question of making sense, but just ironing out the wrinkles of the bill. Still, I'd go for it.

EDIT: Before this goes any further, the bill and info. surrounding it can be found here: http://www.taxcannabis.org/index.php/pages/initiative/ Not too long of a read, but a must if you live in California.
i have read it and to tell you the truth from where i'm setting its all good
unless you grow for profit
and even then theres ways around it
as long as noone leave your house with more then an ounce your good
i would rather gram out a whole pound anyways
i gat 20's allday every day.... LOL
but really i'm my best custumer
i would save so much money with a 5x5 legal grow

the only people that dont want yes on this are "dealers"
i have a day job that pays well
i could save tons of cash with a legal grow

They didnt end up in order - take note of the title of the pics on the lower left.

PK - LST - has got 10 tops almost all the same height.

The BD was transplanted about 1 week before the pic, it was in the 2x2 for veg - same with the PK in the 6x6 cubes.
