I used toilet paper for mines.

also i would put the toilet in a container that can close if you havent done so yet. it helps keep the moisture in so that the water wont dry up

If i was you dude i would just purchase some jiffy pots and throw em in there water them put them in a warm place and leave them alone that tray is like 6 bux cant beat it... I have had the best of luck with them I have purchased single seeds and was worried about the germ rate , one of them was Big Buddah White dwarf or something the other was Dutch passion blue berry.

Well toilet paper is designed to fall apart when it comes in contact with water so it does not harm a septic tank, while paper towels are designed to remain strong while wet. So yeah of course it will work, but you'll probably have to rinse the toilet paper off the seed later and make sure it remains in a dark space as the light can kill the budding root.

Well.....are you out of paper towels or something? but yeah I would guess the toliet paper wouldn't open back up once it drys out a bit. Plus the paper towel will wick the water up from a plate so you only need a drop or two to re wet the whole thing

i would rather use paper towel..the toilet paper falls apart to easy...i have germinated many ways..and honestly if you are trying to get a quicker start on things..i found out that just putting them in a cup of water for a few days..is quicker..they crack in a few days..and they spourt in about 2 days..4 days total to come out of the ground..

If either is sealed in a ziplock bag moisture retention shouldn't be an issue. Guess I shouldn't assume one is used though.

yes theyre in bags to keep it humid, would it hurt the process if i just took them out the tp off the cable box tomorrow and put them in water, or should i just keep making sure the tp is damp and let it run its current course.

Seriously? I always have great success using the old paper towel method. Wouldn't use the toilet paper tho, I might wipe my ass with it by mistake. hehe.

I did the same thing, except it was a paper towel. I put it under the cable box, in a ziploc bag. She is currently flowering.

Yeah I'll only germinate a seed if I question if it is viable or not...otherwise they go straight into jiffy pellets.

all that sounds like too much work. I took dixie cups labled them fill with water, drop in the beans for 2 days. lets see what happens. all split and showed taproot.

i had the same prob w/roots getting tangled in the toilet paper, i used water to dissolve the tp and it turned out ok. still its way too complicated and irritating/pain in the ass when u can just get the jiffy pucks or in water somewhere warm w/o all the hassle of other ways. the first few times i tried i just put em in the soil w/o cracking em and my success rate was 9 out of 10 popped up so thats also another option it does seem to take a little longer though
