tomdanks cxb3590 freebie run

I have been reading the forums for a few months and I've learned a lot.. thanks to growmau5 greengenes supraspl and countless other threads and discussions here and the videos on youtube... well i been a bit of a sponge, i built my own lights to set up a perpetual grow.. also had a few tips from dudegrow show on a soil mix and made my own little D.I.Y filter to pull in clean air into my main tent. Bought some Recharge and Mammoth p and germinated some freebies I've had from attitude..

veg tent is a apollo tent few inches short of 2x3 with 3 cxb3590 at 1.4ma for 150 watts i have a 4inch fan for exhaust and 2 fans circulating air over the ladies.

flower tent which im still using to veg currently is gorilla 4x4 tent, 3 bars with 4 cxb3590 at 1.4ma for 600 watts 6inch fan for exhaust and 4inch inline hooked up to a DIY filter plus 2 fans to circulate air in the room

i germinated
fems
hso - 1x mango sapphire, 1x 707 truthband, 1x ewe-2
dna - 1x holy grail kush, 1x 24k gold
g13 - 1x pineapple kush #2
autos
bomb - 1x cherrybomb auto
genofarm - 1x purple haze auto

the genofarm auto is a mutant in a 3gal the stem is deformed at the roots it seems tangled and has started flowering way to early in just 2 weeks been thinking about tossing it out since..
cherry bomb auto is looking good still in veg im going to keep the autos in the veg tent as a 150 watt auto expierement

3 fem ladies are 2 weeks behind i topped or fimmed once and hoping to catch them up to the 3 hso already in the 4x4 which have been topped 3 times to make 4 main colas and transplanted into 5gallons20160620_013416[1].jpg 20160716_233700[1].jpg 20160716_233715[1].jpg 20160716_233724[1].jpg 20160716_233917[1].jpg 20160716_233939[1].jpg

im a humble dude this is my second go.
hoping to flip to flower at the end of the month will transplant the 3 ladies in the veg tent to some bigger pots after the new tops grow also move them to the bigger tent.
i will try and put a bunch more labels on everything since none came out in the pictures..
i had fungus gnats in the beginning because of newbie mistakes but i kicked there ass with sticky traps (a lot of dirt blew into the traps as i moved stuff around but i also let me keep track of bug population), fan blowing over the top soil to keep it dry and a few treatments of microbelift.
i kinda suspect the hydro store i purchase my soil at may have been the cause as i remember seeing stuff flying around when i was in the soil section.. but i live and i learn
its summer time head and bugs are a challenge and being new to the game i had to learn a lot quick to get the rooms to what i believe are proper environments..
my lights have meanwell hlg185 1400a drivers which due to the heat i had to have manually dimmed. i believe i dimmed the most i could before the screw would fall out as i read that has happened to people i also read that the meanwell A drivers dim down to 50%? if so would that mean im running them close to 700ma? if anyone has insight into the A drivers dimming i appreciate it, I've tried reading the meanwell pdf doesn't really explain it to me.

Your grow looks great it looks incredibly well researched. Sorry I don't have info on dimming but I have seen it a ton on the DIY threads using the 20k resistors or whatever, don't quote that exact thing. I'm sure you can find an example

Yes the A drivers only dim between 50-100%
thank you so much for this info i will deff be turning it up later in flower manualy i hope there isnt anyway i over do it

Could you explain that diy filter box a little more? It's interesting.
sure well its a filter box just to filter out dust and bugs not really for order its a super simple cheap design all you need is
1. 18-20 gallon tote
1. duct 6 or 4 inch
1. 6 or 4 inch inline fan
1. house filter that can cover the tote mine is 16x25x1
1. and duct tape

pretty ghetto i love ghetto very easy..
1. carve a 6 or 4 inch hole on the side of the tote and slide in your ducting
2. tape the area on the inside and out where the ducting is to not allow air leaks.
3. tape the house filter on top of the tote where the lid would go tape it up nice around the sides to cover any holes the tote may come with.
4. hook up the duct to the inline fan i bought the wrong size so i taped my 6 inch duct to my 4 inch fan lol.
5. slide that duct into your tent port and your done.

i had to do this so i can suck in cold air from the room because i have a standard house ac pulling air into the room but its really just hitting my tent on the side..
i know its working.. i throw paper in the air over the box and it sucked right onto the filter.. super happy and my filter is a eco filter 3 layer system to block out particles its can be hand washed and has a life time warranty
i got everything i needed at home depot minus the inline fan.

well after typing this i realized i should just link you to where i got the info the pics are down so just use the picture of my green box as a refrence
