You can use vinegar as much as you want, you just can't use more than two or three tablespoons per gallon of water maximum, or else you'll send your pH into a dangerous freefall.

Dunno who's telling you you can only use it once - they're quite obviously lying to you and don't know what they're talking about.

Water using vinegar/water solution when the pH calls for it. If your soil pH is 6.5 just use regular water. if its at 6.8, regular water's fine. Any higher, drop that pH back down.

You still didn't say what type of soil you are using.....some soils like miracle gro will actually lower the ph of your water...so you have to compensate by watering with a higher ph.....then check the run off ph until you get it as close to 6.8 as you can...........hope this helps........

you have got a nitrogen burn ...two of the ingredients in your soil mix is very high in nitrogen plus the nitrogen in your nutes plus the nitro. in the molasses ....I would suggest flushing with several gallons of water....and cut back nutes to 1/4 untill you see some healthy new growth

dude theres no way its a nute burn, every thing is showing signs of def, it was a ph thing, my water and soil were at 7s which is too high for nute uptake in organic soil, soil needs to be at 6.8 and water at 6.5

Use vinegar. Acetic acid is not as volatile as citric acid and will last longer. A tablespoon to a gallon of water should do fine.

7 is not good - it causes lockout of some micronutrients, especially magnesium.
BINGO !!That is what I would have recommended :-?

Sorry to hijack but I might have a problem, I'm not sure. My water PH is 6.0 - 6.2, but my run off water is 7.6 - 7.8. Does that mean I could have a nutrient lock out also? My stems are very very purple. Growing Blue Rhino, here's the link to the info. Any help appreciated!!

Your soil is way too basic - add to much dolomite lime, did ya?

For this case, I recommend using three tablespoons of 5% acidity vinegar to a gallon of water. You need a hellacious pH drop and FAST, make sure you actually FLUSH with this solution, not simply water. Three gallons of this per gallon of soil you have in each pot.
