Hello fellow friends new here and would like a bit of help please.
Currently in my first week of flower and my 3 plants are bushing out alot and starting to stretch.

Q1: Are they going to stretch alot more because I can only move my light up about 1feet more.

Q2: Are these fat bushes going to cause me problems later on in flowering ?

Any tips or Advice would be very much appreciated THANKS IN ADVANCE !!unnamed-1.jpg unnamed-2.jpg unnamed.jpg

#1. Most definitely. They'll stretch for the first 3-4 weeks in flower. You can expect them grow to 2-3 times the height right before the switch to flower. Start tying them down now. LST.

#2. No. Flowering nutes are low nitrogen. At around the 7th-8th week in flower. Most major fan leaves have been emptied of nitrogen and turn yellow. A tap on the stem and they'll fall off. By the time it's ripe, most major leaves have died. What's left is the smaller leaves up top and the sugar leaves around the buds. Think of it as the plant de-bushing itself. Don't mess with any healthy leaves.

Out of control plants happens. On the current grow, I had one plant that was slow to flower and stretched about foot taller then everything else. I had to zip tie the light rack(cobs) to the top of the tent. I tied the plant down mid stretch and it kept going. She's 11 inches from the light.

Now I have an estimated height of 5 foot tall plant growing in a two gallon pot. Huge pain in butt plant.
