Too early to top??

Hi guys. Got an LA Cheese (Bug Buddha) that I want to top. This is my first photoperiod grow (done 2 auto grows) so will be first attempt at topping. It's 2 weeks old from seed. I've got a couple diff strains a bit behind & I'm guessing topping this one will slow it a bit & let others try catch up! Here's a few pics of where it's at:

I'm just not sure if I should wait another week or so, or it's ok to top now? I don't want to stress her too much! Any opinions would be helpful!
Thanks!

shit i used the cheap cloner powder stuff from wal mart lik 5$ or under i think not sure also i just pluged mine right in soil or a peat pellet from wally world and kept it in a seedling tray with dome

takes 7-14days ruffly and kept it moist after 7 days let it vent just slightly and let off closer to day 14 if all is healthy

if u dont have a tray with dome plug into soil in a pot and cut the top off a soda bottle and mist inside and place over the plant for a green house effect might have to cut the leaves back but i recomend a 2 liter bottle and keep the soil moist as well

The plant did have 4 nodes, I cut it after the 2nd, I read this was correct? I have another three plants starting off just now, but just wanted to top this one to use as a comparison. Just starting out so want to try lots of different things to see what works best for me. I might fim another, I haven't decided. I have a 400w lumatek ballast (currently on 250w for veg) and a 4" extractor (upgrading to rhino 6") & 8" oscillating fan. It's in a 90x90x170cm tent, ducting running into the loft & out a vent in the roof. Using biobizz light mix & biobizz heaven, grow, bloom & topmax. Also have epsom salt & cal mag if needed. Everything ph'd to 6.5-6.8. Only growing for me & my girlfriend so don't need massive yields, if prefer quality to quantity. As soon as this one is done I'll be starting another.

You don't even need cloning gels/powders just soak em in water cut with bleach and a drop of superthrive, aero cloners will make the probability of rooting much higher

i will be doing some cloning again soon , well when i say agian i mean from like 5 years ago when i did my first lot of clones , but if i recall they all came through , in rockwool cubes , im thinking of 3 in rockwool and 3 in aero fingers crossed ,

Thanks all! As I say just experimenting as I'm a beginner! Got 2 other plants just starting off I might try different techniques with. A blue cheese and an EmDog. Don't want to run out of room but want to maximise potential. I geuss scrog next grow but maybe try fim this grow.

So I have fimmed all three of my plants with great success. I have at lease 4 new tops on each plant. I plan on fimming those 4 new tops in hopes of getting at least 10 tops on each plant. Once those new tops catch up with the rest of the canopy I will install a scrog to help space out the kolas for even light distribution. My point is that you don't have to stick to one technique. Depending on your setup you could top, then fim the new tops, then super crop those new tops and then install a scrog to really space things out while maximizing your space potential!

Here's a pic of the progress since the topping

My first attempt at topping but seems to have gone well I think?Anyone else got any opinions on it?
Kinda looks like the side branches hav caught up with the 2 new tops & might be a few colas? I'm not sure how it will turn out but it's exciting seeing the changes & experimenting a bit. Just started growing and I feel addicted already!
