~Headband ( I'd choose sour d, and o.g. , but I only got 3 choices so this is my favorite hybrid of them)

DUDE!.....You dont know how many people i have asked around here if they know about/grown/smoked K2, and never did i get a reply......Def on my top 3 also...Too bad they discontinued it..... My k2 i had as a mother for years died on me, as my drip system failed on me......u said in ur journal that homegrown fantaseeds k2 was the same as nirvanas.... are you sure about that? i recently bought them to find out, but waiting till after my current grow.......hope its the same... the pic looks similar, but its so close up.... who knows if they are the same dense, FAT, beautiful kholas.......K2 was always very under rated, and under appreciated..... I miss growing her... wish i had bred it... :(....... Do you have a mother, or seeds from it?

**haha glad there another fellow K2 fan, .. yea you wont really find a lot of ppl these days that remember old dutch commercial hybrids.. all i know about the strain is nirvana copied / took seed stock from home grown fantansy seeds to make his K2.. i regret to say my fav K2 mom died too --due to a crazy X, lol .. i have seeds of K2 by nirvana and HGF K2 (and they are identical grown side by side)

If you are going to grow 3 strains, I would recommend the following:

1. White Widow - (Either Seedsman or Mr. Nice's Black Widow) - Hybrid 7-9 weeks flower
2. Sour Diesel - (Various breeders, I personally grow a S1 Alpha from Reservoir) - Sativa 9-11 weeks
3. White Berry - (Paradise Seeds) - Indica 6-7 weeks

All are easy growers, taste and smell a-mazing, yield copious amounts, and have little to no tolerance build-up.

Im growning 2 out of 3 of the strains you just listed. But im doin SSH, not SLH. All in flowering, The cheese WOW is all i can say. HUGE plant, 6ft tall 4 ft wide with GIANT cones. Takes up 1/3 of my grown room.

3. Banana OG I picked up this from a shop in LA about 4-5 years ago it was the tastiest and most potent banana of all time. I have banana going right now I hope its half as good.

dude, i smoked some jilly bean last week, it tasted like oranges and skunk.... so delicious, and just when i started admiring the flavor, i felt i took some antidepressants or something it was amazing smoke, such a nice happy high.

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone for adding your top picks. I just got some vortex for the june promo. been wanting to run that for awhile. Alright guys lets keep on getting more input.

Thai (landrace), Dr. Grinspoon and Hindu Kush or maybe Afghani, depends, I need to go study the subject more deeply :joint:.

If I were the one growing (with my current set up) my choices might be different... Sensi NL#5, Barney's Honey B or Utopia Haze, and maybe Romulan. AK47 would be a good pick too.

God those were hard choices. I need a hit.

I still have a lot of strains I need to try, but from what I have smoked in the past 15 years my top three are:
-the SFV OG I smoked a long time ago.
-Sensi NL. I grew it with great results and it was a killer indica.
-AK47 or WW, depending on how I feel at the time. I grew both and both are great in their own way.:joint:

Top 3 Smoked:

DJ - Short's Blueberry - my friend had an super cut of this, absolutely amazing stuff, hands down the tastiest smoke ever.

Kryptonite - elite cutting from Canada, supposedly a cross of Kushes.

Original Purple Haze X Grape Ape - clone only as well, my god, this stuff is so strong that you can easily overdo it.

Top 3 Grown:

Original Purple Haze X Grape Ape

Kali Mist - the early strain, not this new pheno they have.

AK-47 - I've had some really shitty AK, but when you get the cutting from a good mom.....yum.
