a good trap(not fox or wildlife proof) to know iff someones snooping on you is to get a pringles tube and fill it with a spring ( like a kids jakk in the box ) i used to do it in the army to know if my cupboard had been breached.... once it pops ( lol ) they cant fix it like you did....... i found out wen sum theiving cunt was mooching..... he got caught in the end... i think hes dead now ?????

Its legal for me but I treat it like its illegal as much as possible. It sucks becuase my workspace is also my bedroom. I have to live in here (2 bedroom apt w/ roomate, also patient) and run 2 rooms outa one tiny area. It sucks because anyone who goes in my room, therefore knows I grow. I have several other friends who are patients/caregivers and know I grow, because they normally ask me for advice and favors, which are all legal thank god. I can't wait til im outta this lease I am moving in with a friend/fellow patient and I will be a registered caregiver at that time. Comes with 2 bedrooms plus a "den", which is a bedroom with no closet. Did someone say grow room? And they are very luxurious, and I will be able to afford the upgrade.

people who know can/will tell others,and they can tell others to.like if they have bragging rights.

My story:
I had the perfect spot, the one that when you see it you know it's meant to pot growing. So I wanted to start with 3 "friends" for personal use, we agreed that each one will have to give its share of money for equipment and will have to work as hard as the other to earn their bud. Well, it was a nightmare! they didn't come through! didn't learn a thing and messed up the whole crop, that if they were kind enough to show up and offer a hand after long times of absences.

I got out of the deal and offered them to set them up an hydro system at no cost. I'd even provide the nutes for the first couple grows in return for them to leave me alone, but neither had the balls to grow in their places.

So now they know where the grow is and are expecting like vultures harvest time- They blackmailed me for weed, 30g each per grow or they'll tell. I'm talking about close friends here!! the ones you think you could trust. Luckely I haven't had to see the inside of a jail to understand that "trust" doesn't match at all with pot grow especially when it comes to people close to you.

I'll be shutting it down for a while, definitely lost 3 friends by witnessing a nasty glance at their true greedy colors, and ought'a find a new place and start from scratch if I plan to continue. (btw I'm looking advice regarding damage control)

Bottom line:
-You own the words you keep, those you tell may slave you!
-You can count on someone to keep a secret you can't keep yourself!
-If you need advice, support or acknowledgement, buy a camera and post on this forum
-A lot of people wants to take you down! don't offer the chance

But it is TABOO. In the United States, as with 99.5% of the rest of the world, at the federal level ( highest court ), marijuana is still illegal. Which means at any time the federal (high court) popo can come crashing through your door, guns blazin.

The likelihood of that happening is slim, unless of course you are being a total idiot and blabbing your mouth to everyone, or selling massive amounts to little schools kids at the playground, etc etc -- which by the way, its the whole point of this thread.

@masp84 -- Dude, what a bummer of a story. But to be honest with you -- they werent really your friends to begin with. If they could so easily bribe you for something so small -- they were probably willing to do pretty much anything to take advantage of you. Live and learn my friend, and try to hang out with better dudes next time. Maybe someone who's number 1 interest isnt pot.
