Thanks LightGuy, Its amost exactly half gram a watt... We didnt have luck with the OG clones this round and are going with Herijuana OG & a few El Jeffe.. We will see what happens with that..

bummer on the OG clones... oh well that Herijuana is always good.... that is another strain i might have to try and get a hold of... i just ended up with a strain called Pure OG so i will be taking clones shortly to do a few rounds of that... it is a great bud, i will just have to get a Co2 set up before flower... but if you do a journal on the Herijuana post the link, i would like to see how that one does too... you guys gonna stick to the top feed to waste with the hydro mix?

Ya Light Guy, It sucked! They just didnt like my old method.. I think I got them now and getting about 90%.. Guess not so bad for OG when I was only getting about a third of them to live.. When I do ANY other strain its odd if I loose one or two outta 64.. I will be doing another Journal with the Herijuna. Same Medium and Pots, we just decieded to do 24 and cram them in.. We both got unlimited SB420's.. I want more!

Yeah I had just tried a different method on the cloning with the Pure OG and they took forever... i kept faith and managed to get about 60% but they took almost 4 wks to get decent roots... keeping 1 for a new mother and gave the rest to a buddy... gonna try a power cloner 45 and see how that thing works with the OG. Just seems to be a slow rooter.. about how long is it taking for your OG's to root from cut? Yeah when i go get my renewel i will for sure be getting my SB420 exemption.... I think that is a good idea on the 24 this round... you fill definitely have that whole space filled and should be a super huge canopy.. can't wait to see the pics... About to do a round of 24 of the Fire OG's with a buddy that has his exemption... we'll see how that goes but we are only doing 2400W for now and have them all in coco...

It taking about 2 weeks for them to show any roots at all and I have left some going for like 5 weeks.. After they die away I have about 10 different Sized clones out of 30 or so.. Id id EZ Clone with 35 slots filled and Got about 8 good clones the time before last..... I've done a few testers and got good results with some hydrozyme in the water.. I'll keep you posted!

Hey Nipples...are you aerating your rez water or not bothering to since it's drain to waste? Also do you keep your nutes recirculating constantly or just perodically?

Yes, with a micro pore stone and it recirculates tru the chiller 24 hours a day only... Drain to waste my friend!

Yea I do drain to waste. I'm curious why u have to aerate when not using DWC. Also why recirculate all day rather than just an hour or so before watering. Are you feeding Organics or something?

Having extra oxygen in the water wont only help with a DWC, but with NFT and any hydroponic system where the water is sitting around. Might not matter as much with this soiless culture as NFT or DWC but I want my res aerated. Plus we keep our mix real wet and it doest have much time to aerate by drying out so the air in the water might actually help... I'm anti Root rot!
