Topped, fimmed and grow for gold

Hey guys I have three plants setup in my cabinet, completely light proofed. One has been topped, one has been fimmed and the smaller one I just left to grow as she pleases. I just wanted to put it out there and see what you guys thought for a first time grow and how my progress is. :) they are entering week six and have just been put into flowering.

-peace!

Did you say they were 6 weeks old they are very small for 6 weeks old to be honest mate, what light have you got, you need to get it much, much closer, as an example I have my 400w hps about 6 inches from the top of the plant. I don't know how far into 12/12 you are you could always just get the light closer and veg a bit longer?

flourecent light need to be with in 2-6 inch`s to provide strong light, after 12" my light meter don't get much of a reading from my 49W T5HOs

also tinfoil and mirror`s is`t the best to reflect light (I know it is in your eye`s) will only promote hot spot`s
instead use the 10$ on a few meters of maylor to cover the box in, or if money are really low, get a emergency blanket (when I first heard of this I had grown for 1/2 a year and found that I had one in my first aid kit all the time :D)

I pruned my plants and started ze ole 12/12 2 weeks later, I have a limited space here and am really only doing this to get that first puff of my own patience and effort, I'm not expecting a massive yeild but enough for a good weekend. I have a 240w fluro light and a 90 watt worklight hanging above about 30cm away. the mirrors are to drawing heat in and the alfoil is just to reflect. I now open the door daily and put a fan on to blow in and help thicken up the stems. They are quite small due too insuffient lighting but I have more or less fixed the problem.

Just so you know aluminum foil and mirrors are not good for reflecting light for plants.
Sounds funny I know but they cause hot spots and generally don't work very well.
A flat white surface will work better and will not cause hot spots.

If you put those plants on 12/12 at that size you are only gonna get enough bud to roll a joint maybe.
