topping a plant thats 12-12 from seed

i just wanted to know if anyone has topped a plant that has been grown 12-12 from seed and if it can be done?
i only germinated them and put them in the flower room as an experiment thy are at day 19 and are growing nice so i don't want to bollix them up now , any help would be appreciated

Yes, I just topped my 12/12 plant after it showed sex (pre-flower) for a few days. I cut 4 of the lowest weak branches and now I have 8 tops and am cloning the topped half. I'd say my plant's just over a month to 6 weeks old?... I don't really keep track of flower days it's just a ball park figure. If you top it after the budding has started I don't know.. Might complicate things. Don't recommend it.

Same here, and especially if I'm doing 1212 from start. I like for her to run at full speed since veg time is limited. I only top under certain circumstances in 1212 like on a stretchy sativa for example and I like to do it prior to stretching.

yeah mane i am doing my first 12/12 from seed at the moment and i topped at about the third node you just have to be very very gentle ill try an throw upma picture soon its a pretty cool little plant
