I got a afgan kush ryder autoflower is it safe to topp autoflowers ?and when is the best time to do so ?

I'm sure Tek will chime in, i'd like to hear myself. He tops w/o problem

different growers say different things if you need it short top it before the 3rd node try and do it before preflower seeing how this is the real "veg" phase before maturity

I topped 3 early wonder skunks once the 5th node popped out left 2 nodes and ended up with 4 toppers and now in flower no problems so like tek said anywhere between 3rd and 5th node

There is no point in topping auto's.
They respond so well to LST and ScrOG it's counter productive to top them.
You want 4 colas?
Tie your main cola down.
You want 12 more?
Tie the 4 over.

Top, Fim, supercrop are all barbaric and misapplied if used on auto's.
Not saying you can't do it. Just saying there are far better ways.

i've got a sweet mango and its going no where. ive seen plants grow in under one gallon and still have nugs.just saying sweet auto looks more like a reggi to me, but the tricomes are bigger than the buds.

I have topped Chaze without a problem. Main cola divided into two and it grew more bush like. Still waiting for it to finish though and this is apparently classed as a 'super auto'. I have tied down normal autos also and with comparisons found it didnt make a huge amount of difference if I was using some type of aeration container.
