Topping in flower mode

How bad would this be for my plant. It's 19 days into 12/12. It's Bag seed very sativa dominant. But the darn thing shot up and is like 5' tall and is starting to get burnt by my light which is a 1k hps. I would post pics but I don't have a camera.

well topping would stress it a little but wouldnt kill it. But there are other options like tying the plant over, you could make your plant 1/2 as high if you just bent it a little everyday and tied it down to something.

Topping is not the best option for you, since it will still continue to grow, and will only be stressful.

Supercrop it, that way, you know she won't get burned again and you'll have a nice budgrowth from the other branches... plus, no stress! But you will need to support her.

If you don't like supercropping, just bend her, but be careful not to tear or rip the stem!

it might stress it and cause it to hermie, who knows...

I'd try to LST her somehow... I think that would be the safest...

Topping is fine 19 days in, I usually top mine in the first week of flowering, just pinch off the top with your fingers, that will slow it down from growing so tall, but you will get 2 nice buds at the top instead of the christmas tree shape, it may stress it a little but if its a healthy plant you won't see any negative effects and the plant will put energy into the buds instead of trying to keep growing upwards.

Yes, LST is also a pretty good option.

I think ima try the super crop. She is pretty healthy other then the super minor burning so far. It's a bit to tall for me to LST I don't have anything to really tie it up good. Plus worst case I do have a cutting rooted and vegging to be the mommy. I also have 5 other plants one bag seed that seems more Indica and 4 Purple Buds from seedsman.

For sure, my other ladies are doing extremely well for the most part. I had a lil Calcium problem but I got some nutes to fix that.

When I super cropped it I pinched to hard and damaged it . So I ended up just topped normally. I'm at 37 days flower and its doing fairly good except for its yellowing from the bottom up. I'm assuming it's because I topped it other then that its fine. My Indica dom plant is about 2 1/2 - 3' and doing great. It's really starting to fatten up I'm gonna start flushing with molasses fri. Finaly my purple bud plants are doing alright. These are the ones with the calcium problems. They are starting to get Fatter a little bit and I plan on letting them go for about 3-4 more weeks. Still strapped for cash so I haven't been able to afford a camera but plan on selling a few grams of my first harvest to go buy a cam from big lots or something like that.

It's probably normal that your lower fan leaves are turning yellow. It happens all the way till harvest.
