so I was going to top this 17 day old plant but when I went to move aside the closest nodes I accidentely snapped one off.

The top I was intending to cut remains and so does the opposing node of the one that snapped. What do you guys suggest I do with it? Leave it?

Thanks:weed:

sorry for sideways picture :wall:ddd1.jpg

Super glue it back on, she wont notice it was gone.

Let it grow a bit more so you can see SOME node spacing. Give it 1-2 weeks more before you try topping again, that way you will have an idea of which way she is trying to grow.

Only thing you can do is wait, maybe look into Uncle bens topping technique. I think it requires that you wait until it has 4 or 5 true nodes, then cut it down to the third true node. Look into it for specifics.

Yes, that. It gives the stem time to strengthen

So I guess I topped too early.. I also topped 1 other plant but without issue. What is the consequences of topping too soon? Right now I count 4 nodes.
