Haha. IMO if you are going to top for more than four main colas I would SCroG it up. Although I would take 4 big tops over a ScroG any day. Good Luck.

And UB's a lil overratedddddddddd. Like Lucas Formula. :)

fdd ends it with poor info. Terms are right. My grow journals have a ton of info as do any of UB or RiddMe's.
I'm not a fan of Scrog, just cause its a time consumer and can be hard. Get a grow or two then mess with it. As UB says 'plan your garden. and grow out your plan'
the info i offered is brought about by my own experience. i have been practicing my methods with positive results for years. i didn't just make that stuff up to argue.

why you gotta bash on me for offer my grow experience? i was simply sharing. i never said my way was the only way. i do what i do and it works for me.

great info ! i always thought that when topping go for 4-5 node:wall:

I never topped a plant as I believe that it causes stress and when topping you are cutting the biggest cola ! ( thats what i believe )
Instead i use the scrog method as it causes less stress, produce 20-30 colas and still having my huge main cola :bigjoint:

peace:leaf:

Lolli pop them before topping is bad info to me. The hormonal influence change by then and doesn't work as good.

I saw your seedlings. Sad and weak. You are way over your head spouting info you've read, but no real experience. So talk shit all you want on UB. He was growing cannabis when you were still crapping in you pants.

Ok, this is an excellent tip for me as i am a beginner, but i do have a question about this... I watched my father in law "prune" his plants, and by his pruning, i mean he cut off branches on the lower portion about half inch away from the main stem... A week later it just turned brown and nothing has grown back since... So this technique will actually grow back what you cut off?? This is probably really fucking retarded, but ive never grown... ??? Thanks for the help in advance!

Ok, so if I cut between the second and third node what kind of advantages would longer vegging have? I can see the increased production when you don't top and veg for up to 6 weeks but once it is topped, do you see any advantages in vegging longer?

Do I know you? Otherwise I don't know how you have seen my "sad and weak" seedlings since I have never posted pictures anywehere on this site, or online. UB definately knows what he's talking about but he's not God. If you want I know of a place where all of UB's followers go to worship him on Sundays, pm me ;).
