Hi -
I need some advice as to when I should top Sannie's Extrema. I am a relatively new grower, but have grown successfully outdoors in the past. I have started six (6) Extrema plants that I will be putting outdoors in mid April. They are currently about three (3) weeks old and are sitting in my nursery under HO T5s (typical shown below). My desire is to maximize yield. My intent is to build a screen structure around them for support. My question is when should I top them?
Also if you have ever grown this one outdoors, I would love to hear your experience and any tips that you would be willing to pass on.
