Topping virgin seeks experience

There's treachery afoot
So I did a little experiment at the prodding of my gardening friend who told me I could not get a clone to grow from a flowering plant. Not only did she root, the clone was taken on Feb 14th, from a plant that was harvested the same day. It can be done but took a looong time to root but is doing well and starting to take off. I am done for the year with my growing except for the one little girl in the photos as I am heading outside to grow veggies for the summer. I have never topped, cropped, trimmed or de-leafed any plant I have ever grown so am new to the whole mutilation...lol...thing. I want her to spread out and get as bushy as possible as I want to make the best use of the wide open grow cabinet and am sure the tomatoes won't mind. I have nipped the top off of six shoots and am wondering if I continue to top or is cutting six enough to get her to bush out. I am using Scotts potting soil, one of my favorites and 400 watt HPS in a mylar lined wardrobe from Lowes with a vent fan in the ceiling. I can let her get about two and a half feet tall before I need to switch to 12/12....any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I'm sure that cutting 6 is plenty to get it to bush out. I'm no expert by any means, but that sounds like it's plenty.
