Topping VS Single Cola (Micro System)

If you have tons of light and space, I see the point in topping to maximize yield. If you're using a small box and 2 42w cfls to flower, I think growing multiple buds would decrease the quality significantly.

I'm not sure whether topping would achieve very much in a micro grow, but personally I would probably LST or ScroG. Better to have the entire surface area under the lights filled with small buds, rather than having just one or two big buds which may be harder to control the growth of.

In my view, training is even more important in micro growing, since you have less margin for error if you want a good yield. The more surface area you can cover with bud, the better.

I agree with this post, LST or scrog will be more efficent in micro grows
