Trailer Trash Grow Closet

It's been a while since I last posted here! My first (and last) grow was about 3 years ago and now I'm out of college and living in a hitch trailer on my parent's property, putting the dream on hold. ..........lol >_>

With that being said, my step-dad told me he has no problem with me growing as long as the cable guy, septic, gas, etc people don't see it. This trailer is basically my house, so no one goes in here but me and we live in a very rural part of Texas. I was originally going to grow it out in the greenhouse but I've rediscovered this closet.

It's made for a small washer/dryer set and has outlets built into the actual closet. Also, the main power switch is located in the kitchen. I have to toggle it between the closet and the microwave, but that's not a huge deal. If someone unauthorized knocks on the door, I can just lean over and turn the power off without opening the closet doors or making a fuss.

I'm going to replace a few of the bulbs, that one incandescent is just there to see how bright it is. I'm going to clamp a fan to the top because there's a wire shelf built into the closet (It's like this closet wants me to grow hahahaaa).

Ventilation is going to be a problem here, but since it isn't really a high-risk stealth grow, I'm going to keep the door open as much as possible.

if that is tin foil get rid of it and replace with mylar/spaceblanket/white paint

I can't paint it, what about taping up white paper?

You are going to need REAL lights....
HPS/MH otherwise you are going to be disappointed....

yea also your not suposed to use the shiney side if you do use foil your suposed to use the dull side

lol this makes me laugh my first grow i used cfls and i harvested a little more than 1 oz off of my first plant cfls are deff the way to go espacly with a grow area that small.

Because of the height?

i now use 1000 watt hps but that doesnt mean im going to knock cfls they work great for a first time grower on a budget or with limited space

I used CFLs my first grow and produced a decent yield. I'm going to go with bigger CFLs though, I won't be ready to grow for another two weeks.

NAw nvm just wanting to know why cfls won't work since they seem to be popular.

yea thats enough room for 1 plant i wish you had a little more room just incase you get a male

cfls work they just arnt the best option but if your growing 1 plant then there would be no justifieing a hps or mh the price of power would cost more then the plant would probably yeild

Yeah, I've thought about it. It's about 18"x24" of space so just a little over 2 square feet. I think I could start two plants and just hope one of them turns out, but..... what if they both turn out female...lol always the possibility.

Also thought about dwarfing them.

I tore out the foil and replaced it with the inside face of some wrapping paper.

thats sounds like a good idea i hope it dont catch fire though lol if you get 2 ladys then grow one in your set up put the other by a window seal not for bud to smoke but for leaves and small nip shit buds that can be used for cannabutter and extracts

If it comes down to it once my other greenhouse plants mature (growing tomatoes and other shit out there) I might be able to throw the second out there and keep it extra concealed. If stepdad is convinced it's hidden from view from the outside I should be ok. The greenhouse glass obscures the inside a bit but not all the way.

More than one serious plant might be a bit awkward out there. Therefore the closet lol.

The light stays secure at the center, but just in case I'm gonna check the barn tomorrow and see if there's any leftover plexiglass or some kind of clear cover to put over the walls. Just gonna put a plastic tray on the bottom. I'm growing in soil.
