Trainwreck seed

My friend had some trainwreck bud and he told me a found one seed out of what he got and he gave it to me. It popped the other day. I was wondering what are the chances of it be a female. Cuz i know trainwreck is a clone only strain so if this was a hermie than the seed will most likely be a hermie or female that can easily stress to hermie. if it was a true female that got pollinated by a stressed female that hermied then the seed should be femenized with an easier chance to hermie than a true female right?

hahah what?

the original is known for its hermie tendencies, so likelyhood is it will be feminised and hermie a bit on you to so watch out, wouldn't stop me from growing it though

if its a genetic hermie id call the seed worthless. but if your sure its a stress-related hermie then it will be feminized with little chance of hermying. then theres always the chance its t-wreck crossed with kansas hemp.

my friend was telling me something about emergency pollen. some strains release a single male stamen with very little pollen and this pollen is sapposed to be some of the richest. Some strains if u let them go a little longer than usual it shoots that one male stamen. Id love to see how trainwreck would grow in the islandz and if it comes out to be a female with no hermie flowers than i will cross it with some island strains.

nah i dont think its richest pollen, its hermie pollen. a lot strains do that but trainwreck from what i hear is notorious for it, don't let it stop you growing it though

yeah, not the richest...but not hermie either. the seeds produced with that pollen will be 100% feminized.:hump:

or hermie.

not saying your wrong because you have a lot more rep than me lol:bigjoint:, but i swear i just read about breeders not liking using feminised plants because they have hermie genetics and at the end of it all they are in fact hermies (some just hide it better)?? can't rember where i saw it though:-?

there are different methods of making a plant go hermie to produce feminized seeds. some are safer than others for making fem seeds that wont hermie. overripening a female plant is a last-chance effort by the plant to reproduce, it forces itself to produce pollen with the only genetic code it has to work with - female genetic code.

with that said, theres no way you know your t-wreck bagseed was concieved in this manner. like i said, it could be crossed with kansas hemp, you never know.

ps- dont always go by a persons rep. honestly, at least half of mine isnt from weed advise but from jokes and shit like that.

it sprouted and is about 2 inches tall and reaching for the sun now. I have it in coco coir and perlite with a little wormcastings. im interested in seeing how its gonna come out but i dont think i will pay too much attention to it. i have a few other strains that i like more. seen too much trainwreck bud around here kinda sick of it. Who knows it might even be crossed with some other killer strain hopefully not hemp. im just curious to see how it will come out in the islands as apposed to the mainland. u know what they say. The grass is always greener in hawaii.
