Transfering plant & lighting question

Hi everyone I recently started growing 3 plants w/ some yard dirt in some plastic drinking cups. They are about a week old and this winter sunlight isn't helping me so I bought 3 cfls that are 42 watts each. The box says each of them are 150 watts equivilant. I know i need around atleast 200 watts of light, so what counts- the actual wattage(126w) or the equivilant(450w)?
My next question is, the plants are about an inch high ( ill put some pictures on if needed) and I want to transfer them to some potting soil I bought. Would it kill the plant to carefully remove all the yard dirt from the roots & replant, or should I remove the dirt & plant from the cup, and put the cup shaped block of yard dirt within the potting soil in some 3 gallon pots i bought. I don't want to remove all the dirt from the roots but im paranoid about what could be in the yard dirt(mainly pests). I don't want to start over but I will if u reccomend it. :joint:Thanks.:joint:

you already used the dirt, put it in the new put with the same dirt and your roots will grow out into the potting soil

Just keep some garden friendly bug spray on hand (should have this on hand anyway).
