this makes me cringe, i use it as an experience gauge. i think i might have a couple points from dumb shit i wrote, but almost all are from helping others. i thought thats what they were about. whatever, *takes toke*

Take note that only one +rep is from the "hot chix thread". I'm not sure if it makes you feel better to make others feel less intelligent or worthy, but if it does, I hope that works out for you in the long run. Let me remind you, THIS IS MY FIRST GROW. I didn't say that I was planning on continuing using veg nutes during flower. I simply asked the best way to transition, and what about lower nitrogen causes larger buds. No need to be condescending and rude. Thank you for all the useful insight everyone.

Okay I see you edited this . What am I supposed to be seeing? (note) That I copy an pasted from my old thread . I,m switching to a soiless meadium now for flower .And no longer will be ammending the soil . Using only the nute ratios I aforementioned.I'm transitioning from Organics to soiless and chem nutes.
man, your methods make my head spin. since i got time, im gonna follow your grow and ask my questions there, we kinda took over this one.

So do you get 1 point for each rep? So over 450 reps with less than 200 posts? I'm confused but not that concerned. Maybe I have it wrong and you get 10 points, I have no clue.

Nevertheless, we can all use this as a lesson in sexual dynamics.

hughesresearch, I've been growing ww for some time now. It seems that no matter how heavy or light I go with the nutes in bud, they start to yellow by the 3rd or 4th week in. Really ragged looking by harvest. Good weed tho :)

BTW, I use the entire FF feeding schedule (all six products), molasses..soil grow.
see i really dont count how old the plant is. i just feed what they look like they need. ive had phenos finish 3 weeks before others, ive eliminated that factor through cloning. the plant almost seems like its selectively choosing leaves it thinks it doesnt need, but thats absurd and seems impossible.

Hey King, interesting thread and good to see ya trying to set the record straight.

Howdy to everyone else I am the one they like to call RM3 :) I am the one that figured out and named the "make it rain" technique and I have been teaching folks on this forum how to grow dank potent buds for awhile now

The pics are of a GDP from clone under 2 400 watt CMH bulbs that are over 2 feet above the canopy in the 6th week of flower. Only food it gets is a general purpose 20-10-20 from Jack's Professional, no boosters, no additives

There is a lot of research into why the nute makers make high P bloom foods but to be quick it is because outdoors P is easily leeched out of the soil. When container gardening became popular in the 50's this trend in nutes was continued until some kickass botanhists discovered that P is NOT easily leeched out of containers as it is outdoors. As a result some nute makers changed some of thier formulas and some gardeners started getting better results in thier container based gardens. It is however very rare to find this info in MJ forums where the myths and misinfo run rampant, but there are links to verify what I'm saying in my threads :) (reg garden and AG links)

The biggest load of crap that is spread is that it is "normal" for the plant to yellow or die in flower. Allowing N to diminish toward the end is the biggest mistake a grower can make with regard to POTENCY because N is required for the plants proper fermentation process (cure) Also a big mistake to trim right after the chop cause the required N is stored in the leaves. Now you can choose not to believe me but the research is in my threads (actual science not forum hype) and here is quoted smoke report from an RIU member (Illumination) that has tasted my buds

Bad Ass Weed!!!

Ok here's the give...

I smoke good herb everyday all day long. I eat edibles which are VERY STRONG everyday.

Went visit RM3....talked bout all kinds of grow topics and thought "Man I am learning so much being here with my bro" Didn't learn shit cause I WAS SO RIPPPED!!

Lemme tell you this dude grows some potent shit, mellow taste and smooth as fuck...BUT THE MAIN THING IS THE POTENCY!!!!!

Thing is I debunk the forum retoric daily here and some folks don't want to hear it, others choose to listen and grow better buds. I don't care either way how folks grow I simply put the info out there so folks can decide for themselves. I'm told it takes about 2 weeks to read all of my threads but I promise that if you do you will come away with a much better understanding of how plants grow, how to read them and provide what they need and how to cure them for more potency

Enjoy the truth :)

well to anwser your question, it varies on the person who grow on how they transition. the best method i have done (others argue this) is to put some type of booster before you switch the light to give more sites, then start using bloom nutes after the stretch. LOWER NITROGEN WILL NOT CAUSE LARGER BUDS. sorry just seems to be something that keeps coming up. the plant doesnt use as much nitrogen therefore wouldnt need it, but like mine, somestrains are a pain in the ass.

i mean it helps, but doesnt blow my mind. im still confused. im one of those people that has to take everything and break it down to pieces to figure out how it works. if you could link up some articles on this it would help me better. im always trying to improve.

its not that you stop giving nitrogen in flowering stage is that you lower your nitrogen as the plant doesnt need it as much many growers an my self prob made mistakes, We try to learn and correct it takes many grows you cant do it in 1 or 2 grows many say add add nitrogen in 4th week cause plants are starting to yellow and if you see in many threads it only causes more problems re the claw
excessive nute burn the secret is a balanced diet all round
i my self at 4th week am running in the range of 1200 ppm already i also flush 5th week always
i have had my buds compared to 3 other strains and mine was most THC , best lookin and most fruity smell and most wanted
Afganistan

growing isnt realy that hard its reading your plants knowing what the plant needs knowing how much food to feed them
everyone hammers there plants thinking i am goin to have big buds all i can say is

to make big buds you need monster lighting
heres 4th goin into 5th week flowering pics

Hello there! Nice to meet you... I.. think.....

Devil's advocate

In common parlance, a devil's advocate is someone who, given a certain argument, takes a position he or she does not necessarily agree with, just for the sake of argument. In taking such position, the individual taking on the devil's advocate role seeks to engage others in an argumentative discussion process. The purpose of such process is typically to test the quality of the original argument and identify weaknesses in its structure, and to use such information to either improve or abandon the original, opposing position. It can also refer (less commonly) to someone who takes a stance that is seen as unpopular or unconventional, but is actually another way of arguing a more conventional stance. For example, a Christian who stands up for "humanism" because of his actual belief that it originated and is consistent with Christianity. He qualifies his seemingly unorthodox, but not necessarily false view, by leaving off the word "secular".

Nice point, properly delivered, nice to meet you :)

so for the sake of debate that General Purpose 20-10-20 that I used to grow those buds came in a 25 pound bag for $28

Not slammin AN or Mike but for the price of perhaps one AN product I can grow dank for 10 years

Yeah man that's what all the pro's use man haven't you heard??
I assume your joking again LOL

There is not a single person I can name that has a better reputation in the nute world than JR Peters, did you know that you can send them samples of your soil and water and they will blend a nute that has exactly what you need based on the test samples?

I'm pretty sure there is not one canna specific nute maker that will do this???
