Transplant help

I had to transplant one of my white widows into a bigger pot. She started to suck up water like every 1.5 days and was getting a little droopy. So I transplanted into a bigger pot, and the root system was huge and kinda root bound. I didn't have the balls to loosen the roots really so I just put it in the bigger pot with the soil nice and loose. Now it's drooping some more after about 24hrs. Is that normal? I'm not sure if it takes a few days to adjust or if I did anything wrong.

might be in shock. try to get some B-1 and mix that with your water. Make sure you're not over-watering. Over-watering kills more plants than the DEA. let it dry out between waterings, and when you do water, make sure it is complete and thorough. You don't want dry pockets.

how do I mix in b-1? and do you mean vitamin b1? sorry I'm a little clueless on this stuff since its my first grow. I didn't even need to water it, the soil was real moist from the bag(miracle grow moisture control), even my meter had it high up on the moist. I just made sure the soil wasn't tight and nice and loose. I've been making real sure to not over water, I see so many die on here from that when I look around.

sry i dont have any answers but i have a question like urs and i was hoping i could also get an answer.....my plant was in a smaller pot for awile and i needed to transplant and when i took it out there was a paper towl at the bottom of the pot and the roots are all tangled in it should i un tangle them or let the roots do all of it???

man I wish I had an answer for you, but you're situation is more complicated than mine with that paper towel lol. I just don't want to lose this pretty lady since I'm only a couple weeks from flowering, so hopefully I figure it out soon or maybe the drooping is normal for the first couple days?

ya cuz the plant is putting all its energy in recovering from the shock just do wat u normally do and keep an eye on it.
the paper towel i dont even know how it got into the pot lol and now im worried cuz it will prevent the roots from growing

hahahah , that's a nice one.the plant must recover soon man.just DO NOT overwater for sure!!!

also did you mix the soil with perlite or gravel (broken stone).the roots need oxygen.

na I didn't, I was reading on here somewhere that the miracle grow moisture control is sufficient without the perlite. If you think I should anyway, I've got one more to transplant. Oh, and she looks a bit perkier this morning, still droopin but I think I'm seeing progress.

deff need perlite in da soil mix (Imo).she will perk up i a few days if root bounded.good luck bro. Cheetah

thanks a lot man, I'll mix in like 10-20% perlite for the next one, that sound about right? and I just realized its fuckin enriched with miracle grow plant food and i didnt notice when i bought it haha. It says .04-.01-.06 is that alright for it? I can always go buy the plain if needed.

mix about 30 % of perlite. 04-01-.06......what is that a date or something?!?

You guys should get acquainted with those three numbers,,, on any nutrients you get you will have those,,, sometimes you will need more or have to much of at least one of them and need to correct as needed.....good luck on your grow.............................................................................................
