Transplanting a very small seedling into a very large bucket? Help!

Ok, I have a 2 week old seedling that is just bursting out of it's Rapid Rooter. I have guests coming in this weekend and will not be able to set up my tent and have them here at the same time, as they like to utilize my closet for storing mass amounts of luggage (they over pack like fuck) .

Any who, my seedling is getting way to big for it's ice cube tray holder I have it in now. Is there anyway to potentially store a plant in hydroton and simply just mist it for a couple of days before fully transplanting it into the bucket full of water/air?

I would prefer not to make it sit in the ice cube tray until Sunday, because it is my only plant that is looking successful and I do not want to kill it, it already survived my over watering and over nute-ing.

Thank you.

Should be fine. I have a seedling in rockwool for 4 days now just making sure the humidity stays up and cube stays moist... I left for 2-3 days and came back it was fine. No roots out the bottom yet once they show it will be straight to DWC

Well see that's the thing, I have about 4-5 roots about 4" long coming out of the bottom. I have two very thick hairy roots coming out the side.

Yeah it should go into the DWC quick, why not put it in the net pot or bucket lid w/ hydrotron rocks & your starter plug / rock wool whatever. Once guests leave you can set everything up. I ran my system without a tent for a few weeks while girls were still young. It was in a closet and I just locked the door to the spare room. It may not draw much attention at that young age just the lights I'd be worried about
