So even though this is an established plant far from seedling or fresh cutting im good to burry her up to her neck? Just trying to be sure dont wanna waiste all the time ive spent getting her to where she is but worth it if i can get her lower. Any tips with it like dont water next to the trunk for about a week, yada yada, ect thanksI have transplanted many of plants like so and never have I gotten stem rot .. Its common for tomato growers to perform this procedure in order to gain strength , support and more roots ..
i do it on stufff that has been vegged 3-4 weeks sometimes. especially when it's from clone I tend to clean the bottom nodes up and then bury on transplant. It sounds like he's talking about a thick main trunk that's like a foot long. I wouldn't advise that, as it likely would just rot the stem.
Has anyone here actually tried burying many nodes worth of stem?
Myco is the best friend you can ever have. Can't believe I went years without using the stuff.U can bury them! I do it all the time! In fact next year I'm gunna stretch the seedlings on purpose just so I can BURY them! More ROOTS = More BUDS.... Gunna stretch em' bury them... wait for them to grow 3 nodes... then clip offfff node 1 and 2 and BURY those as well! Then TOP so that the plant is MAINLINED at the 3rd Node! Then when transplanting into soil - add mycorrizhal fungi .... Yeah Baby YEAH!!!! Going all out!
It is Awesum innit! WOW! I only had enough for just 1 of my plants at transplant time so I had 3 of the same strain (critical widow) in a row - biggest then medium and then the runtier one! SO... I thought I'll give the Myco to the smallest ... see how that pans out... and HOLY MOLY amazinggggggggggggggnezz! The biggest is a giant and the medium has so many colas I can't count but the RUNTY one has THE most stonking mega-buds coated in crystal super SUPER fat!... and reeeeking and stinking to HIGH heaven! and so THICK and SOLID... chunky nugs of glorious rock-hard-ness .......... Mental! Definitely Myco just achieves that extra level of goodness......... xxmissxxMyco is the best friend you can ever have. Can't believe I went years without using the stuff.
