i just transplanted two of my plants from two liter containers to two gallon buckets. i am trying to keep this grow stealthy and small so i dont want my plants getting any bigger then two feet. so i have two questions will these containers be big enough to hold a two foot plant and when should a send my plants into flowering there both eight inches tall as of today and are looking beautiful.

flower it at ten inches and it should stay around the 2-2 and a half foot range. Yeah that pot will most likely get you through with a small plant

ive read many a time that you should consider 1gallon per foot of growth
so you should be all set and flower when stunned said
best of luck

2 gallons is well enough for a 2 feet plant.

I suppose you have an indica, so it's best to induce flowering when your plant has 8-10 inches or 6-8 internodes.

ya i did alot of reaserch on what size pots to use but its always good to have some advice from the wise and yes its an indica strain im not exactly sure what exact strain though because i got the seeds from a whole bunch of random bags. the one thing im worried about is that my plants will end up either males or hermies. is there anyway to help them become females or no?

keep all your temps proper and make sure your water and nutz are perfect, no light probs and you shouldn't get any hermy's....
and the general rule is 1 gallon to every 1 month of growth, so if you usin seeds you will need to factore in the months of veg and flower, ware as a clone needs less soil, i plant my clones at 3 per 3 gallon pot, put cardboard seperators in the soil to allow the roots to grow without chocking each other off, and round 50 days latter they done...
and the container size also dictates the plant size, less soil to root and the plants stay smaller.....
wanna see what i'm talking about, go look at every Aerophonic system pics you can find, them big finished plants ain't got more roots then could fit into smaller soil containers!.... just something i have noticed over time...

To sum up what the previous member just said, don't stress you plants. Stress plays an important factor on sex expression in plants. Less stress, less males/hermies.
