Transplanting

I just transplanted some small two week old seedlings into a larger container and when i pulled them up some of the roots snapped. I was just wondering if i should cut the broad leaves a little so the roots have less to support on the surface, or should i just let them go and make sure they have enough like and good quality soil (foxfarm OF ,WC ,and Perlite)? Or what have other people done in the past? Thanks in advance for the help, hopefully i didnt ruin them, they look so good

no dont cut any of the leafs, it will be fine. I would say use a transplant solution however to water, to relieve the stress. Root66 would prolly work, use at 1/4 stength
