Traveling and Carrying...

I have my logical doubts on this one but here goes, I have googled here and there, but if I am traveling outside Colorado am I at risk of getting popped if I am carrying? or will another state honor the card? and if the state also has legal MMJ do i have to do something with the state in order to be in that state under my current Co license?

Only reason I feel like asking this is with a regular prescription, like Welbutrin or Xanax there's no problems with cops because your prescription is printed on the bottle...

Your card is only valid in Colorado.

They don't print the prescription on the bottle because it isn't a prescription. You have a doctor's recommendation that you may benefit from the use of Medical Marijuana.

You may get some leeway in a Med state, but don't count on getting out of jail in OK, TX, KS, UT, or any of the other nearby non med states.

I thought our cards were valid in Montana and Rhode Island. No?

I am unsure of this as well and it's also the first I have heard of that

If you have a MMJ card from another state in FL they'll usually honor it and take your stash and smoke it themselves.

Some states have reciprocal agreements, RI and MN being some of the most lax, with CO and MI right behind them I believe. Check with your state's MMJ patients' bill of rights for actuals. NO non-mmj state will ever honor your card bro.

as far as i understand it, montana and Rhode island will honor your card as long as you are with in their legal carry limits but good luck finding a dispensary that will sell to you with an out of state card! and it seems that both places have much different rules governing personal carry and use for med patients so i would be cautious when traveling with meds!

There was a thread on here where someone took there plant with them on the plane from a MMJ state to another MMJ state. He got stopped in the airport but once they verified he had a prescription they let him go on. and supposedly they had cops or someone waiting for him to verify him when he got off too or something.

they are doing it proper with good meds and tons of strains and customer service that you wont find anywhere else! everything is done with love and compassion these guys are doing it right and really care about the patients and the meds they are putting out!

plus they are just really damn awesome people!!!

Some other states let you use your license there. I think it's simple economics, the MMJ producing areas, Cali, Colo, etc. seem to not let patients use cards from other states, but some MMJ states without alot of MMJ production allow patients to use their cards there, they want patients and producers to move there and use their cards, better for their economy.
