On another note I just had the daylights scared out of me. someone who is renting a warehouse on my lot owns fire trucks and keeps them here when he runs out fo space. well he decided to let off a little siren. It sounded identical to a cop car, just a short little burst. Fuck it scared me!

that'd be nice, it'd make them afraid to come after us, cause they'd get sued every time they fucked up. I have a few friends who would do that, as long as they weren't in any real danger.

It would have to be well thought out.
I am sure legal advice should be sought well in advance.

It is certainly possible though.

I take preventative measures by nature.

That idea just was off the top.

I would like to go so far as to get backgrounds and personal info on the narcos in the local area.

From there I would like to get response times.

Then I would like to know my options based on this and much much more info.

They do and can flyover and see your heat sig before getting a warrant.

If they suspect you're growing by seeing your heat sig....they I.D. the address. Then look into records of the person who lives there. CC transactions, shipments from delivery companies (ups, fed ex), your arrest background etc. Is al looked into.

If they see something else....like a bunch of charges to seed banks or you've been arrested for dealing or frequent deliveries from hydroshops.....they may pay you a visit.

But all would be a result of the flyover when they saw your heat sig. Its not that hard to dig into your info.

My question is....is there any material you use to line your growroom with that can block their FLIR?

I guess this is a plus in the CFL users side. I would think that HID lights are a lot easier to identify using FLIR.

I've heard before, that California has a radio station that keeps growers in the know about possible DEA and ATF busts. Pretty much like traffic reports, but they tell you where the feds are, and what they are up to.

See if a chooper fly,s over with these flirs and your lights on burning away and they see it can they tell the diffrence between a light and your cooker or an electric fire

a large scale grow can be seen with a chopper by the way the heat is fromed in a line of lights but one come'on how can they see thats it not a hot water heater

whats the radio station ive never heard of anything like that. i wish they had one in new england

Venting out hotwater heater stacks or out the drier vents will cover the heat signature of the hot gases, from there keep your area very cool low 70's and it will mask your hid lamps very very well.
