Travis G's Critical Kush

Felt like it was time to start a grow journal, just have this one critical kush thats been outta the cloner for about 2 weeks (the original seed was ordered from seedsman), have a couple girls in flower but we wont worry about them.



Currently in a 2x4 tent in a soil mix of 2 parts ffof 1 part peat moss 1 part cococoir 2 parts vermiculite (trying to make the ffof a little less hot) that sits in a 7 gal cloth bucket. The plant is under a 2ft 4 bulb hoT5 with 6500k bulbs in it and will be transferred to my HLG 132's once it is in flower

Cool! Do you always go from t5s to the qb? I always have went from floros for veg to an hps for flower, no problem. But recently started using a quantum board for flower and find that alot of plants do not like the change. I've beem having to sorta harden them off. Is this your experience?

My girls in flower right now are my first batch under the quantums and they started out in flower under 2 viparspectra "600watt" blurples but yeah I always veg under my hoT5s, havent really noticed too much of a difference switching to the vipars but I seen a difference switching to the HLGs, a lot of new bud with white hairs while the older bud is maturing faster

I just started flowering under LEDs last year, before that I vegged and flowered under t5s but the plants stretched really bad and I got sick of constantly replacing bulbs, still made for some good bud though.

Might have to dim the HLGs for transfer, guess we shall see.

Ok. So something to watch out for then. Never seen anyone have a problem going to the blurples, but I know that they do prepare plants for the qbs. My budfy does exactly this to get em ready for fluence lights. i usually have to put them under the qbs for a few hrs a day, for a week to get them used to it before making the switch completely. Those pics were first thing in the morning right after the lights came on and I watered them, about 4 a.m. here in the right now snowy land of Michigan. Had to go to work and started thinking I should have taken measurements so here's some more pics to give a better sense of their size



I also forgot to mention this will be my first grow with RO water, my water tested so high in nitrates that it was unsafe to drink so I'm not sure what to expect with this.

Update: topped it on accident while I was just trying to give her a pinch, guess I need to trim my nails more... Seems to be growing pretty steady, hasn't been watered in a couple days but still doesn't seem to need it

She's still growing pretty steady, topping her didn't slow her down a bit





She still has a good color to her haven't bothered pushing any nutes but I'll probably give her some light doses soon, using that RO water can't be adding much to the soil.

I know I said I wouldnt include the mother but damn she has some nice buds!
