Trichome color or am I losing my mind.

So i've have a couple of White Widow plants going like week 12-13. Been checking the trichomes with a 40x magnifier. They always looked clear 100% still. So these plants were so looking done. I took a 60-100x microscope and looked at them again. They all looked amber to dark amber. Am I losing my mind? How can they look clear at 40x and amber at 60-100x? Am I losing my mind?

Did you have it at 60x or 100x or somewhere in-between? I've been using my 60-100x at 60x and mine always look cloudy or clear, cant ever find ambers.

i see them but them again i dont. its weird

often parts of a plant will mature to amber faster than others,,
