Trichomes Question

When checking trichomes is it better to snip a piece of calyx or leaf? Or does it matter?

Also, 90% of my hairs are red and just now beginning to recede but the trichomes are only about 75% cloudy. if I wanted a more cerebral high would this be a good time to harvest?

yes, beacouse, kush my nature is a hard body exp. so the darker the color the more body stone u get, so I would cut now if uwhant more of a celebral high, but sativas are better for celeb high

I snip off a leaf right beside the bud, the more trics the better.
