I completely disagree. Anthocyanins are hypothesized to have a synergistic effect with phospholipids and terpenes. Anthocyanins are also a well
known antioxidants. All of which coupled with the medicinal value of THC, CBD and typically higher levels of CBV in those "cosmetic bullshit plants".
I am lucky enough to have genuine ken estes GDP seeds that I have bred through to F4.
GDP is absolutely the most medicinal cannabis I have ever grown. I am trying to bring her back to true breed and then I will be crossing her into my 1:1 CBD and 1:20.

Temp changes should not be required if it is Ken Estes GDP.

@kchip187 If you have any questions as you grow you GDP send me a PM. I have alot of experience with that strain. Over 8 cycles.

Most GDP rides high on Mycrene ( couch lock ) with select peppery , earth Caryophyllene profiles for anxiety, depression issues.
While having high THC over CBD. HOWEVER , depending on the breeders cross ( most have their version of it ) a true GDP is almost all indica.

As you are aware , one breeders seed offerings can run all over the place compared to others. It’s the wide spread dilution of strains that make finding “ original “ lines difficult. Even the purple urkle can be unknown if really part of cut. For a better CBD version , look for a GDP crossed with say a OG KUSH , that will up the CBD . The other part of profile still have mood lifting ratios of pinene and limonene ( citrus ) which actually supplement the mycrene with excellent anti inflammatory effects as the primary benefits.

Pretty buds are what they are . But I find these buds great for pressing .
