tricomb debate...

ive read a lot of different things about what to look for and have got a 50-100x magnifier...im looking at my trichs and my buds are like 9 weeks into flower ... i picked a bud before i got the magnifier cause it looked like it was done...when i look at it through the mag i see mostly clear and shiny but what could be shiny milky...and i noticed a couple with very dary heads and maybe an amber or 2....now i read that only sativa strains get the true amber tricombs..https://www.gardenscure.com/420/harvesting-drying-storage/110651-amber-trichs-have-you-grown-any.html its a disgustingly long thread but informative...makes me wonder what to do now....my buds dont look ready to come off and the one plant i took off was not a very good yield...and its very fluffy like 13 grams was 3/4 sandwich bag almost fully dried...the buds are dried but the stem not completely..you can see thc all over and its unbelieveably sticky and has a nice smell but due to not flushing tastes a bit spicy..i tried to smoke a joint yesterday and it kept going out but the end result was i could really feel a head high strong but not for very long.....so as i was saying the other buds dont look ready and i wana mega mega stone...should i wait for the trichs to go amber...and what may this dark head be that i saw almost looked black..only say maybe 3 all together???.....does anyone have any good pics of amber trichs on a sativa strain i can see...i was also wondering if any one else could post some close up tric pics and state what stage there in...im having a hard time distinguishing mily and clear or transluscent...there very shiny...also if anyone has any pics of a fluffy sativa like mine thats ready to pick so i can see what the swollen calyxs look like......ive just heard so many things that are supposed to indicate harvest and i want to be sure...i dont want to wait till trics are amber and have it end up being thats when there degrading...could this coughlock when refered to smoking when trics are amber be because the thc is degrading and thats what makes for a very harsh smoke??? when do you guys harvest and what are your experiences....now my fingers hurt but im interested in exploring this further...any ways that thread i linked is very very interesting and a good read...refers to rosenthal and cervantes ideas as well....please ad to this thread....so we can all harvest the best pot we can!!!
