Anyone here do "seasonal" work? I have been searching the forums and have not found much discussion about the time-honored profession of trimming weed for money.
How does it work in yalls parts of the country? I mean say you have a good year and get like 40, 50, 60 pounds from your outdoor...you can't trim all that yourself, right? Or maybe you do... Maybe there are people out there that just nut up and do their own shit! Or do you pay friends to do it?
Around here we usually get paid by the pound - around $150 to $250, depending on the quality of the stuff we're working with (I can trim a pound of bomb ass dense Maui in 3-4 hours for $150, whereas an elbow of airy Kush can take twice that or longer, but nets me $200-$250). A friend of mine, who does this type of thing for a living, makes anywhere from $1,200-$3,000 a week trimming. He's made close to 20 grand in about two months, and we're still working.
I'm interested in finding out about this so if anyone has any info let me know, id really appreciate it. Thanks in advance RIU.
