my outdoor skunk plants are pretty massive bushes, and the buds on it are really starting to look strong. however once i saw that the plant was flowering i stopped its regular trimmings. Now there are enormous leaves covering some buds that look like they could produce more than they are. would trimming these leaves off help the buds grow bigger? or confuse the plant into trying to make more leaves to replace the ones that were cut off?
