Trimming in flowering and bud site. Dos and donts discussion

Wanted to start a discussion about trimming and removing bottom bud sites and leaves.

What you are referring too is called lollipopping. I do it indoors as well as outdoors.

Did you have a question about it?

Do: remove all the lower small shit that gets little to no light, especially lower-center of the plant within all the branches.

Don't: worry about it if you don't clear it off lol!

I like to remove anything on the lower parts of the plant.

Should the trimming be done before flowering starts?
Would the stress affect the yield

A lot of people will heavily defoliate through the first few weeks from flip. I trim them up all along the grow process. There’s no right or wrong way. No healthy plants will not be neither stressed from it, nor will it detract from the final yield.

Looks great. Few powder puffs at the bottom still but they’ll be ok to stay if you want.
