Trimming Machine Purchase Advise

I have been putting off buying a damn machine for 2 years now. Not this year... Every year I exceed the last by 10-20% at least. So to keep this short. I need help choosing a helping hand machine. I have read mixed reviews on a lot of sites. Come on Roll it up

Trimpro?
Rotor?
Automatik?
Illegal immigrants?
Save up for Samurai or Twister?


I have a yield amount to be worth mechanical help. Looking for a machine to do at least 50+ pounds weekly (min) prefer more. Thank Homies!

I would go with the Trimpro unplugged just because I've read about people doing 1.5 to 2.5 pounds an hour. But if you are doing 50 pounds a week then just get the twister

@Crossfade Thanks Man, I need one to help my friends and family also, I am tired of seeing them trash buds from mold and slowness. If it wasn't for them I probably wouldn't even consider one. And that way I can justify dropping some coin on one of these LOL

I would deff say the Twister as well its a lot of money but that thing is a beast specially when you see it puttin in work on that much weight!!

I have never seen the Samurai tho i cant compare the two.

just think if you buy one you can go to peoples house and use the machine and make some of the $$$ back! I would get a nice heavy duty one I had a trim reaper last yr I didn't really care for it thou

my buddy had the idea to throw one in the back of a van and drive around and charge by the lb........you could make a killing........

I'm curious to I got 2 grand set aside for my girl to trim half my crop so expensive...

Not sure of the name but I bought one of the $300 box fan type off ebay. I used it one year only. Yes it worked but buds were not the best looking. All needed manicuring of corse. I would have a person big leafing then handing to machine operator. My machine worked well on the lower smaller sized buds though. I only used this one type machine. If I bought another one it would be the high $ ones for sure.

That being said if you do not like a bunch of trimmers knowing you grow. And trim alone for the most part. Also if your not looking to unload your product the box fan type will work well for that type of grower. It got me out a huge jam a few years ago.

Not sure of the quality of my unit. I think it's a trim pro knock off type. The original may work much better just not sure.

Mainly b/c I hate trimming, and $500 on a decent *manual trimmer is worth it for my purposes.

the guy that came a few yrs back he charged $100lb or oz + kept all trim that went thru the machine....

The worst thing I did was retire recently..........now I have all kinds of "free time" to trim buds! so now I really can't justify buying a trimmer, argh!.....

I know people who make their living doing scissor work at $200 a lb. so yeah I'd bet you could clean up by renting out your services.

if you had a twister & you charged $100 a lb, you'ed never see a day off. if the twister can do 1lb an hr? that's $100 an hr!!!
