First time in 20 years I've seen this...

It grew three cotyledon, three singles and three three finger leafs then went back to two sets thereafter.

Pretty cool, like a four leaf clover. Trifoliates almost always revert but I have had one that held thru flower, bag seed back in the 90's. Weed was pretty good too.

I hope it works out for you. Krystalica was a favorite of mine in the Amsterdam coffeeshops. It had a great motivational high. Very clear headed. One of my favorite sativas.

Thanks I have three very robust fat leafed ladies just into flower now. I threw one in early , it was so tall I thought for sure it was male but no just very tall haha.

I didnt top em, I like to grow em natural first time I try a strain. Strong peppery musk stem smells

Are you in Europe budder? I wanted to get some of their varieties when I lived there but couldn't find any at the seed shops in Amsterdam. I hear good things about their other varieties.

Upon early seed formation way back on the plant it came from an error which occured in either meiosis or metosis (cant spell or remember which one does it or both.... whatever ppfffffd) and subsequently this happened.

It happens at seed formation shortly aftervpoklination largely due to stress and that can be atested in the fact cotyledons are formed before germination so it must have hapoened at seed formation and early cell division.

One other fact ive seen is that some fucked up seeded plants can oroduce a greater ratio of these trifoliates, thus why i mention the stress factor which also ties into the main way to fuck up early meiosis mitosis (fucking words again ppfffd).

A distinction is made that trifolates are not and always will be zilcho to do with triploids or any ploidy (of which weed does not show). You can wiki ploidy or triploid for a clearer understanding on that.

For me this is the clearest and best explanation but so much opinion and guess work means im possibly one of the few giving this info or who has done enough investigation to even have an amatures guess at somthing pretty complex.

There was some complex reason why it reverts back to normal two leafed morphology, its not a change in dna but a change in its replication.... fucking idk its been to long since i googled genetic boring crap.

Obviously this would read better in non_dyslexic format if anyone wants to google the science and ckean it up for future generations of led growers :-)

No not in Europe, got them online @ Original Seed Co. I've never grown Mandala honestly got it for the name (partner) and I liked the story of how they sourced their genes.
They have a good rep and very reasonable pricing. Popped three regular beans, got three healthy strong females going, big plants, big leaves, strong exotic spice, looking great so far.

Funny enough I'm fairly certain I have some sort of 'ploidy' C99 growing. Buds are twice as thick as usual, twice as many finger leaves coming out making the buds look strangely crowded, super frosty and much heavier than usual (grown a bunch from this seed stock). Wish I'd cloned it now..
