House and Gardens Aqua Flakes DWC chart. Starting week 2 nutes (5 gallon buckets-2 gallons of solution)
HaG rep sent my friend a few bottles of pH Stabilizer free to try. He is getting ready to try it.
Until Today he mixed like this for 2 gallons of solution: 6ml calmagic( wait 10 minutes),5ml of part A(wait 25 min) and 5 ml of part B (wait 25 min), followed by a pH adjustment to 5.8. 30 minutes later..... .8ml drip clean, 4ml of Multizen, and .4ml nitrogen boost.
4) Rockwool cube surrounded with expanded clay pellets
5) Vegetative wk 2.
Notes:
He noticed some very light slime on bubble stones hose. Hydro store lady gave him a container of "Colloidal Shield" for the roots(I later read it can cause plants to hermie and create seeds(feminized) if in contact with leaves.
2 LED lights with 1000w equivalents (2000 total) almost 3 ft away
Daytime temp:68
Night temp: 63
Humidity ~64
The hydroponic DWC with a drip was built from materials at the hydro store (meant for hydro).1 airstone in each reservoir.
Also, he would pH to 5.6-5.8 only to find it up to 6.8 the next morning. only 2 of 6 plants show deficiencies.
My friend apologizes for the poor picture quality. He sleeps when the night cycle is happening.
