But as far as an apology goes for the biggest injustice ever done to Canadians .......forget that.
More Canadians have been busted for cannabis offenses than any other single charge. Yet do you hear any government official saying we are going to get an apology? Not that I've ever heard.
Now all they see is your cash.
If your not outraged by that, you should be.
How hard is it to say your wrong. They do it all the time...just not to the biggest screwed over group they created.

If they get legalization right, then an apology might mean something, but as it stands, they're still wrong so...

Legalizing cannabis for "public safety" still gives others the right to discriminate and stereotype an entire community as something society needs protection from. Society needs protection from a lot of things, but peaceful, family minded people who happen to smoke pot is not one of them. If they legalized cannabis because it was the right thing to do, an apology might have some weight to it, but they didn't, and it doesn't.
