Trump gives the Golan to Netanyahu

Sure, my point was that even if his successor is less of an asshole he/she would still have to associate with Trump and that isn’t going to help him/her.

Huh? With the minority who doesn’t support Hamas? As long as the people in Gaza support Hamas whose primary objective is the destruction of Israel, it’s not up to Israel to seek peace. If Gaza was a strip in SoCal we wouldn’t be talking about this because the US would have taken the most effecfive road to peace a long time ago: a decisive win.

Pointing out the fact Trump only cares about Trump and not people in Israel doesn’t suggest they “need” more. They, Palestinians and Israelis, could certainly use a POTUS with integrity and diplomatic skills, rather than the extreme opposite. A POTUS who understands the art of the deal, who understands the leverage acquired by supporting Israel military.
Why? Are Israelis too incompetent to run their own country without Uncle Sam holding Israel's hand in one hand and his pocketbook in the other? :-?

I don't see an end of hostilities if Israel doesn't work toward peace negotiations with Hamas. I also see no reason for the US to continue to support Israel if they don't. Endless war isn't an answer and completely not going to support total annihilation either.

Who cares which modern oppressive state controls a piece of territory in the Mideast? Why is one bad guy better or worse than the other?

Who fucking cares?

Non-egotistical liberals capable of empathy that transcends national borders.

True, but it does not follow there will be an end to the hostilities as long as Hamas doesn’t want peace.

I do, but that’s your tax money not mine and your military budget is nuts so yeah...

How will you ever gain any knowledge or find truth when you ask such utterly stupid questions?

It’s a given the POTUS has influence in Israel. Suggesting that should be used for good, with as possible results less casualties, possibly even contribute to a peace process, does not imply the typical extremist nonsensical conclusion your malfunctioning brain produced.

You keep rephrasing how Israelis are incapable of living in peace without intervention from the U.S.A. Why?

Why do you keep rephrasing my statement to simplistic extremist nonsense that does not actually follow from my statement? Why oh why.... well, we know why. For the same reason someone who hates Trump loves Hillary, and someone who wants to deal with climate change is a socialist, someone who’s against a wall must love illegal immigrants and crime.

Do you care only about people in places you’ve never been?
I have been to Israel. I have been to several places in the Middle East outside of Israel too. I have cleaned up the mess after a suicide attack killed two dozen people for religion. The Jews that they hate so much are no less brutal to them than they are to each other. The claim they have over the place is no more valid. It's 2019 and we're still arguing about who should be the dominant oppressors but which side will actually send police and developers?

I'm sick of Americans who feign so much compassion for people in other places where they have no idea what is actually going on. Maybe Israel is not a kind state, but it is no more unkind than the ass backward dictatorship it's taking land from.
