Don't worry... Trump's sudden immigration halt he spouted about yesterday has exemptions for immigrant farm workers, so they'll be good there. Also, those tariffs are keeping agriculture afloat in the US I thought.

Oh wait, I'm wrong. Their being held up by taxpayer bailouts BECAUSE of the tariff war.

That is, I want to say something dramatic, but at this point it is really just par for the course. But technically they should call him 'impeached-President Trump'

Also pretty sad that the President of the United States of America Donald Trump is ignoring and trolling this governor who is asking for help with obtaining federal supplies, and they don't even deny it, they just troll harder.

In reality, Trump is a salesman. He's always been a salesman.

You don't need everybody to buy your product to be successful in sales. Look at the tobacco companies.

A political salesman only needs around 40% of people to buy his product. Saleman never tell the whole truth about their product. His buyers aren't concerned with the truth. They don't want to buy the truth.

They want to buy what he's selling. You don't have to be smart to buy something, you just have to want it. And they want it bad and are literally willing to believe any lie necessary to get it. Because what they want are lies they can believe in.

Society (or at least a big portion of it) is sick as fuck.

Anyone want to shoot some bleach??? Lysol???

Trump floats treating coronavirus patients with light and disinfectants

At an unusually contentious briefing Thursday of the coronavirus task force, President Trump floated the idea that people infected with COVID-19 might be treated using injections of disinfectant and applications of ultraviolet light.

"Supposing we hit the body with a tremendous — whether it's ultraviolet or just very powerful light. And I think you said that hasn't been checked, but we're going to test it,” Trump said. “And then I said supposing you brought the light inside the body, either through the skin or some other way."

As Bryan looked on uncomfortably, the president went on to speculate about the possibility of using disinfectants as a treatment.

“And then I see the disinfectant where it knocks it out in a minute, one minute. And is there a way we can do something like that, by injection inside or almost a cleaning? Because you see it gets in the lungs and does a tremendous number on the lungs,” Trump continued.

“It would be interesting to check that. That you're gonna have to use medical doctors with, but it sounds interesting to me, so we’ll see."

Asked directly whether Trump’s suggestion that injecting bleach or using light to treat COVID-19 made sense, Bryan said his laboratory was not pursuing those ideas.
“I think it’s a great thing to look at,” Trump added.

When the Washington Post’s Phil Rucker then told Trump that people tuned into the briefings not to hear rumors, but to learn useful information, Trump responded, “I’m the president and you’re fake news.”

Dismayed physicians, however, took to Twitter during the briefing to warn patients off of using common cleaning products to ward off the coronavirus.1587690773324.png
