Trump's daily press conference/campaign rallies

Anyone noticed that Trump's daily press conference has turned into two hour campaign rallies? And that they've slid to later in the day to displace the evening news?
I boycott them and make sure my TVs are tuned to a different channel.
Whatever Trump says in those "press conferences" can and will be held against him during the election in the fall.

His claim that when he or his son in law use the word "our" they mean "United States of America", for example.

But personally, I haven't watched a single one of them. The snippets I hear in reports on his daily propaganda sessions are enough to hurt my stomach.

I gave up TV about 8 years ago for budget reasons. Now, I can afford it, but I've found I don't miss it, as I had thought I would. It's paying off now.

I have. I've also noticed that the quality of the orange make-up application is getting worse and worse. He's looking more like an orange racoon/buffoon combo with more orange on his collar than around his eyes and hairline, which is consistent with his stress level.

I haven't paid for anything TV in 15+ years, for reasons beyond budget.

It was a wake up, go outside and live decision, and one I'm glad I made.

I hope these rallies continue, and his fanbase takes his advice. Keep working, celebrate easter etc.

We cancelled satellite years ago and got a powered antenna for 40 bucks. We get 60 channels for free including all local stations in HD.

Add Netflix, Hulu, Vudu and Disney and we have more and better entertainment now for 28 dollars per month than we ever did with satellite for 140.

I gave up TV decades ago and cut the cord, but it had to do with my training at the time (meditation) and reading about it having an effect on attention spans etc. I've gradually slid into youtube though, but it's mostly news, nerd stuff and documentaries, whatever is on TV that's of any importance is also on Youtube. I like to share clips here for context and to stimulate conversation, but usually only post the stuff from the owners so it will stay around. Many people are cutting the cord, and cable TV with the exception of sports and news (and FOX), is just fodder for morons as many of the people with brains and the young have moved on. That's why you see so much duck dynasty's, Honey Boo Boo's and other hillbilly entertainment there, they know their demographic and it's also reflected in the ads that appear.

I'm in a geographical location that severely limits over the air transmission. Even in the digital age, it requires a 30 ft. antenna. I considered Hulu and Netflix, I just haven't pulled the trigger on them and probably won't. I have DVD collections that fill the void. I like my Twilight Zone and Scrubs, and somehow, I never tire of Caddie Shack, Young Frankenstein, Blazing Saddles, etc. probably until I pass, I have them memorized. Now, it's "Springtime for Hitler and Germany" from The Producers.

Same here with the reception. We live in a black hole when it comes to the airwaves.

I've never paid for it and so I'm shocked when I hear what cable companies want to charge. Your library of DVDs will never amount to what the annual subscription costs over time.

I do use Netflix because it takes me into genres that I wouldn't find on my own and basic membership is cheap. But that's about it.
