Trying to get best yeild many questions help please

I have a 2'×4'×7' tent with a 400 hps light how many plants should I grow to get the best yeild and how tall should I grow before flowering to get best results planning on growing gods bud and a few mixed strains

mixed stains in a 2x4 tent not a good plan, critical kush yields very good and is strong 25 thc 2.4 cbd but it dose smell. say northernlights one of them smells on a scale from 1 to 20 it's a 6 but CK is more like a 15 + make sure you have a good filter.

Also CK stays short

1-2 plants scrog, lst or mainline.

I was reading on mainline and im going to try that do you think I could do four plants or not

Mainline that shit, man. That or a scrog would be best but I can't get into them so I'd say go with the mainline.

Eh, it'd be tight as fuck for space if you did.
Two, maybe 3 max I'd say. Unless you flip em early, but I'd say 2 grown out would give you a better result than 4 flipped early.

The answer to your question is strain specific........some strains are a better choices than others. But when you try to grow numerous strains in a small area, you're asking for trouble. They will grow differently, and it will become a royal pain to keep an even canopy AND have the same finishing times. Grow 1 strain, maybe 2-3 plants and pinch them to create numerous budding sites. The longer u veg, the better the yield will be.....
