So what does everyone think? R the gold stars on the way to FINALLY see court???
I sure hope so. After the decision phelan give in the last case I say it bodes well for everyone who filed. Not expecting any $$ just safety from prosecution directly in plain English from the judge. We're not asking for anything crazy just common sense stuff to be made 100% clear.

Since we won Allard, is there any relevance in Goldstars now? What would a Goldstar win do for us that Allard hasn't already? Just curious if anyone could explain this.
Basically in six months if the Government comes back with bullshit regulations six plants yada yada yada then the gold stars make it so that you have no restrictions or chance of prosecution even if there is a change of government. Basically you would be section 56 exempt to any canabis product

Goldstars is for complete repeal and not for reinstatement of MMAR.
Goldstars will make it so you don't need to renew. it's so dumb that people with permanent illness/injury have to renew every year.

I used to think that way until I was reminded that my diabetic kid has to go and tell a doctor every year that he needs insulin...its the process of renewing that has to be made easier...I should as a chronic person be able to go to my doc once a year and say nothing has changed, I need my meds...but its pot and you know there are all kinds of things we don't know about it....fuck what we do know...

i guess they want to keep checking on how he's doing...??
i can see that a bit because they want to monitor it and if it gets worse then they can do something. it's the people who are quad or paraplegic who have to go back every year that makes me shake my head. or an amputee...that stuff will not heal so why do they have to go back every year? then you bring that up and i guess they would go to see if they should stay at the same consumption amount or not

Lol jct hard at work trying to confound the establishment again.

JCT: Thanks to Deanna Belliveau who send me a PDF of the old
MMAR exemption forms:

http://johnturmel.com/MMARform.pdf

Those are the old forms to either apply under the old regime
(wouldn't new applications cause them nightmares) or amend
which is what most want it for.

You'll know if the Crown is going to stall this off for a
lot of years in appeals on Mar 29. If they accept the
court's ruling, you should still get started and send in the
form. But if they do appeal, then you'll have little choice
but to get started and decide whether the extra protection
sending the form is worth it. I say it is.

So you find out the timeline for the new regs on the 29th.
Either they'll be coming out in 5 months or they'll be
stalled in appeal.

it's the same thing...unless someone comes up with a cure, he's always going to need insulin and all the shit that goes with it.

the harper government was sending forms out to amputees to ask if their limbs had grown back to see if they could skirt having to pay for their medical needs in relation to their injuries...about as compassionate as you can imagine the old fucker eh

Another email from the crown..seems they are trying to shut down goldstars. Crowns reasoning is that Allard was won and the date of appeal has passed.

Turmel shouldn't have a problem proving that goldstars has 20 reasons and Allard only covered 4 (new regs pending)

Ya just recieved that email too. How do we know it is going to be a moot point due to the allard decsion when we have no idea what fucked up rules they will dream up this time in six months ......

Jct: Crown Attorney Jon Bricker has sent the over 300 Gold Stars a letter requesting a hearing of a motion to strike all our claims because "Allard has rendered these matters moot." Actually, it rendered Remedy A moot, proving the Bad Exemption but it didn't ask for our Remedies B&C: No Offence if Absent Exemption and damages for being shut down. Notice they're trying to strike our B&C claims because we also asked for the winning A Bad Exemption.
What this means is that they're going to have to have another Big Event! In around 2 months, with courtrooms open in 12 cities in 10 provinces again. And the Crown is going to have to convince the court that winning A because of Allard means we can't have B or C any more. Har har har har har har. Hey Heidi, get on them to set up the 2nd Big Event.

the Crown wants to say that because Allard won, there's nothing more to do but it seems they missed a lot of Turmel's points and this will be an interesting fight now
