Turning crystals from a grinder into bubble hash.

Anyone else had this happen?

I just tried to smoke some pure crystals from my grinder in a clean glass bong with glass gauze and instead of combusting the loose crystals it sucked all of the moisture out and turned it into bubble hash. I scraped it off and now have three small pieces of pure bubble hash.

if what your saying is that the flame didnt really burn the crystals, they just Bubble'd and condensed? (its possible it was the crystals)
as for you fine sticky smokables there...hit it with the knives
