I have a shade building outside in southern California where the plants are. They are in 10 and 30 gallon pots. The only thing I used on them is botanicare very light about 1/6 the dosage recommended because I was hoping to get more flavor and not have the chemical taste. I also used earthworm castings and unsulfered molasses. Every tome I watered the ph was at 6.4or 6.5. I know alot of you want the frosty nuggets and are all about the THC. I'm not yes I like crystaly nuggets but I want the flavor most of all. Some of my plants turned out with decent flavor and have a very good high. But some turned out with a turpentine smell and a horrible taste. I am using pro-mix hp soil on most of the plants. My friend is having the same problem with 3 of his plants smelling the same. At first we were thinking maybe we got some funky soil, but then I looked at my plants and 2 of them that smell bad i used different soil on. One was in emipre mix a coco based soil and the other was in something else. Three of the plants that smell bad are critical kush, at first I just thought this is the way the plant smelled but one turned out good. My other 2 plants that smell this war are D.P blueberry. I have also harvested one blueberry that had good taste and high. I am thoroughly confused with this. any intelligent comments are welcome, keep the stupid comments to yourself. Here is a photo of my Kandy kush I am growing also.

Where are your seeds from ? Are you sure they are what you think they are ? Is it possible you have a Diesel or something, instead of blueberry ? Do they have a really earthy taste ? I guess like dirt is about the only way I know to describe it. lol If so, I'm just guessing, but I'd say they aren't what you think they are.

I bought the seeds from attitude I have the original seed packages. The blueberry seeds are from Dutch passion, came in the sealed oroginal package. The critical kush seeds also came in the original package from attitude seeds. they dont smell like a diesel plant they smell god awful like opening the lid on a turpentine container. The crirical kush does kick your ass so the potency is there just the smell and taste is very bad. the ones that dont smell bad grew to look the same as the ones that stink so I dont think this is the problem but thanks for the thoughts.

Could be like Huff N Puff said too. Those plants are just showing more of those traits from whatever strains its parents were. I would just smoke them, and take clones from the ones you like. I really can't think of anything else that would make the actual plant smell like that.
